The days of May draw to a close,
In Marian devotion let us repose.
What wondrous feasts this month has brought,
To strengthen all the true Catholic lot.
On Pentecost the Spirit came,
The Paraclete our hearts inflamed.
The mystery of the Trinity ,
Marked was with pious dignity.
Corpus Christi O Sacrament Divine,
To do not our will Lord, but Thine.
So from May we do depart,
And unto June and the Sacred Heart.
